Y Hub is the home page of Yananyaa and WIDA, a family of free web tools for everyday life, for people everywhere: meeting people online, selling goods, finding work, running exams and keeping school attendance. Every tool works in an ordinary browser, so there is nothing to install and no special equipment is needed.
Why we build these tools
Many online services assume fast connections, paid accounts and complicated sign-ups. Yananyaa starts from the opposite direction: pages are light enough for mobile data, contact happens directly by phone or chat, you set prices in the currency you use, and the tools are available in several languages. The tools (meetings, stores, classifieds, chat, exams, attendance and portfolios) are for everyone. Only the Work job board is focused on one country, Ethiopia, because it collects vacancies published there. The aim is simple: software that fits how people really study, trade and look for work.
Our tools
- Conference: video meetings and virtual classrooms that run in the browser.
- My Store and Market: a free online store page and free classified ads for buying and selling locally.
- Work: a job board focused on Ethiopia that collects new vacancies each day, with direct contact options for employers.
- Secure Exam Portal: online exams for schools and teachers, with controls that discourage cheating.
- Chat: a simple messaging app with voice notes and file sharing that works from any device.
- Portfolio: a personal website builder managed from a single dashboard.
- Attendance: an online attendance register for schools and organisations.
Who runs this site
Y Hub and all Yananyaa tools are designed, built and maintained by Haileyesus Ingidu, a full-stack developer and creative technologist who builds AI-powered tools and web applications. You can reach him directly through the Contact page or at ingiduhaileyesus@gmail.com.
The blog
The blog contains original guides written for this site. Each article explains one tool: what it does, how to get started, and practical tips such as how to write a good classified ad or how to prepare a class for an online exam. We write them from first-hand knowledge of the tools we build, and we update them when the tools change.
How the site is funded
The tools are free to use. To help cover hosting and development costs, this website may display advertising from Google AdSense. Ads are placed apart from the tools and articles and are never meant to be confused with our own content. Please read our Privacy Policy to see how advertising and analytics work, and the Terms & Conditions for the rules of use.
